Instruments and demonstrations in the astrological curriculum: evidence from the University of Vienna, 1500-1530

This article argues that the astrological curriculum at the University of Vienna was structured around the use of demonstration instruments. Further, I argue that most historians have failed to see this curriculum because they have not looked at actual lecture notes and other manuscript sources.-author-supplied description
