Abstract

The objective of this OER syllabus is to provide a no-cost open access course that introduces students to the use of quantitative data in sociology. The material covered in the syllabus examines statistical methods used to analyze data. Statistics textbooks tend to be expensive, yet examine topics that have not changed much in the past few decades. Consequently, this course relies on the discussion of statistical topics from online sources.
